About the Seagull S6

It is a stunning guitar and shockingly good considering the price point. The matt finish feels soft and natural. The acoustics project bright zinging highs, with punchy intonation and clarity that resonates beautifully, making this instrument bold and loud. Not just another dull Martin wanna be, an iconic headstock helps this guitar stand out visually.

We feel one of our Glastonbury shop's main aims for 2020, is to become more responsible for the products we source and sell. Let's just say the world already has enough guitars, so Seagull's sustainability ethos make them an ideal brand to showcase in our store. These instruments are a wise environmental choice offering a sound alternative to imported exotic woods. And as Seagull's limited lifetime warranty covers you against defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own the guitar, we thing think this could be the last guitar you buy.

Or, if you like the ethos and are looking for something different, then check out the Seagull Merlin M4.

From the manufacturer

The award-winning S6 Original Series gets revamped without compromising the classic appeal it is known for. The S6 Original SLIM includes a pressure tested cedar top, a silver leaf maple neck with a 43.69mm nut width for comfortable playability, a custom polished semi-gloss finish, and a bolder look on the neck, back and sides.

The combined tone woods and thin yet durable finish allow the S6 SLIM to project with a crisp midrange and tight bottom end; making it a tonal essential for any player.
